Social Media News: A Comparative Analysis of the Journalistic Uses of Twitter

The article investigates media organizations’ strategies to adapt the new ecology in which Twitter is renewing traditional news-production routines. Two main are identified: a approach aimed at one-way news dissemination, and journalistic model that recasts relationship with audience uses as community building tool. It has been assumed outlets’ endeavours gain centrality information system associated their ability using appropriate communication tools of implementation based on interaction users.
